Reims, France

Kaeli and Ian are both excited as the TGV train starts off toward Reims. Our maximum speed was 300 km/hr.

We started our tour of Reims with a Champagne cellar tour of GH Mumm. Ian got to taste the house specialties while we enjoyed our Goldfish. We stopped at a bistro for lunch where I was able to enjoy steak frites and Ian tried the tartare de beouf.

Kaeli has learned that if she asks for a banana, she gets one. She is amazing at spotting them as we pass the local produce shops.

We toured the 19th century 'passages couverts' in the morning, and then visited Notre Dame and the Pompidou in the afternoon.

Sunday in Paris

The elevator in our apartment building - it is just big enough for the 3 of us.

Kaeli LOVED the carousel in the park - she was shaking with excitement.

We headed out early to enjoy the market.

Walking around the Louvre - we enjoyed the pigeons, boats and some how ended up at the maison du chocolat again : )

After the Louvre, we walked around the Latin Quater and then stoped to view Notre Dame.

I have found that France does chocolate very well!
