I was tired this morning due to a long week at work, a tough swim practice on Thursday and getting up early yesterday morning to bake breakfast for work (it was my week). But Ian coaxed me out of bed just after 6 so that we could walk down to the public beach to register for the 5K run. The run was hard for me, but was support the purchase of a new school bus. We then went to Ian's work (where I wrote my Christmas cards) and then to the grocery store. We picked up a copy of the Cayman Compass at the store that published the results of last weekends triathlon and found out that we came in 4th place for teams...that's neat. After hanging out at the house for an hour we were off again. This time we walked down to Governor's Beach so that Ian could register for the 800m sea swim for Malaria prevention. Ian did really well and came in first for his age group with a time of 11min 45sec. We decided to walk home along the beach, and stopped for a sunset beer on the way. Ian is diving tomorrow with his new gear, and I think I will just take a break!
